Pigs Peace Sanctuary is dedicated to providing a safe home for unwanted, abused, or neglected animals, and is committed to spreading the message of compassion and respect for all animals.

The Humane Society of the United States
This widely respected organization promotes the protection of animals through a wide range of programs and actions.

American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
The well-known ASCPA has a variety of programs that fight animal cruelty, lobby for animal welfare and care for abandoned and abused animals.

Pasado's Safe Haven
"Pasado's Safe Haven is one of the country's premiere animal sanctuaries dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs, cats, and factory farm animals."

Best Friends Animal Sanctuary
This is the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for abused and abandoned cats, dogs and other animals, with never fewer than 1,800 there on any given day.  Best Friends works together with members and other animal welfare organizations to help set up spay/neuter, shelter, foster, and adoption programs in their own neighborhoods.

The Humane Farming Association
HFA is the nation's largest farm animal protection organization.  They focus on education and legislation, rescue abused animals and run the world's largest refuge providing emergency care, rehabilitation, and shelter for abused farm animals.

Progressive Animal Welfare Society
PAWS runs the largest wild animal rehabilitation centers in the Northwest and has a large companion animal shelter besides focusing much effort on education and advocacy.

Northwest Animal Rights Network
A Seattle-based organization that works on behalf of all animals through education, advocacy and grass-roots activism.

In Defense of Animals
IDA's national and international efforts focus on education, grass-roots activism, and animal rescue and rehabilitation.  They operate animal sanctuaries in Mississippi and Africa.

Fund for Animals
"The Fund for Animals' hallmark has been its work to protect all animals, including those who are unpopular and uncharismatic-the underdogs."  They operate a 1,430-acre refuge in Texas that is home to many hundreds of animals of various species. 

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
With more than 2 million members and supporters, PETA works relentlessly to alleviate and eliminate animal suffering in all of its forms.

International Primate Protection League
The IPPL works to rescue and protect primates and their habitats.

Defenders of Wildlife
This organization works to protect native wild animals and plants in their natural communities through education, research, legislation, and advocacy.

Jane Goodall Institute
The Jane Goodall Institute is a global nonprofit that empowers people to make a difference for all living things.
